This picture above brings me a few feelings. One, a sense of accomplishment. I am actually happy that I’ve managed to get this shot and get it to look somewhat decent compared to my other photos. I like the editing I did on this one as well, not too much, but just right. Photography to me is a work in progress right now. So, although I only seem to get good shots once on every blue moon, I will still continue to try.
Second, it gives me, if only for a brief second, a sense of peace, tranquility. It’s what I need. Life has been, hm, how should I put it? Not on my side. School is about to start in a week and we just received our schedules. They’ve screwed mine up once again. I signed up for Graphic Arts 1 & 2, 1 being for the first semester and 2 for the second. But, what I don’t understand is how they can make the error of putting both 1 & 2 into one semester. This means, I will have both classes each day. Same teacher. Same class.
Does that make any sense at all?
So, I have to proceed with the now annual routine of dragging myself to the school (along with 5 gazillion other students whose schedules have been altered NOT in their favor) and crowd myself in too narrow places and wait in never ending lines, just to change the little careless mistakes my school always loves to make.
It frustrates me. So, you can imagine why looking at this picture, really helps sometimes. I feel happy when I do. Like I don’t have to think about all the other crap in life. Just the nice, serene picture.
